Practical Nurse, Service House Koskenhelmi Enonkoski - Etelä-Savon hyvinvointialue - Enonkoski, Finland

The South Savo Wellbeing Area Eloisa is seeking a Practical Nurse for a permanent position at Service House Koskenhelmi in Enonkoski, starting from 17.8.2026 or as agreed. Service House Koskenhelmi offers round-the-clock assisted living in a comfortable location in Enonkoski town. The facility is divided into two resident units. Some beds are designated for short-term care and rehabilitation. The practical nurse's role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Nurses are responsible for comprehensive client care according to care and service plans. The practical nurse participates in daily basic care, medication administration, and planning and implementing meaningful activities in collaboration with other service providers. Client functional capacity is supported based on their resources and goals. The work requires the ability to work independently, flexibility, creativity in changing circumstances, responsibility, good communication and collaboration skills, and initiative. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a health statement regarding respiratory tuberculosis as per section 55. A six-month probation period applies. Working with the elderly requires a valid criminal record extract before starting employment if the employment exceeds three months (Supervision Act 741/2023, section 28).
