Job Description
We are seeking a full-time substitute teacher for Hämeenkatu School as a resource teacher (16 hours/week) for the 2026-27 school year. Applicants are expected to have good cooperation and interaction skills. The role mainly involves co-teaching alongside class teachers. Experience in co-teaching is considered an advantage. Hämeenkatu School is located in the city center, surrounded by good transportation links and sports facilities. The school’s comfortable teaching facilities are spread across three buildings. The main building, known as the stone school, houses most of the students. The lower floor contains craft rooms, a music classroom, and a small group classroom. The extension built in 2012 includes a cafeteria and language classrooms. At Hämeenkatu School, we value mutual respect, environmental consciousness, and appreciation for our work and the work of others. We support healthy self-esteem in our work, in cooperation with parents.
