We are looking for a skilled and motivated dental hygienist for a fixed-term employment contract until March 10, 2027, for the Kanta-Häme wellbeing services county in Hämeenlinna, at the new G-dental clinic on Viipurintie. The work consists of day shifts and we use flexible working hours, allowing you to plan your own daily schedule. The duties of a dental hygienist in the wellbeing services county include diverse tasks related to health maintenance and disease prevention: - Oral health examinations and assessment of treatment needs - Periodontal treatment and maintenance care - Prevention and treatment of gum diseases - Individual self-care guidance - Fluoride and sealant treatments and other preventive measures - Multidisciplinary cooperation - Work may also include operating in a mobile unit in the Hämeenlinna area and pop-up activities at schools. The work emphasizes customer-centricity and supporting the overall well-being of the client. We use the Lifecare patient information system. Good written and oral skills in Finnish are required for the position. The position-specific salary is €3,029.21/month. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay an experience-based supplement ranging from 0% to 8%. The accumulation of vacation days is also determined based on length of service. Working hours are 38.25 hours per week. Applications must arrive by the end of the application period and must be submitted via the Kuntarekry system. Salary and other terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. A probationary period applies to the employment relationship. Immediate patient and client work requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis clearance regarding the respiratory organs as per Section 55.
