Cleaning and Catering Manager - Perhon kunta - Perho, Finland

Cleaning and catering services are responsible for the cleanliness and comfort of municipal properties and premises, as well as the municipality's food services from early childhood education to teaching. The Cleaning and Catering Manager acts as the frontline supervisor for approximately 12 employees in these services and is responsible for their smooth operation. Additionally, the role includes 40-50% practical tasks within the cleaning and catering teams. Qualifications include a relevant higher education degree in the field (Restonomi (AMK) or equivalent managerial-level education). The job requires organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, stress tolerance, financial thinking, systematic approach, independent thinking, and the ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. Knowledge of financial management, accounting, labor legislation, and information technology is also important. A good self-esteem and confidence in one's professional skills are beneficial. Experience in management, service-mindedness, enthusiasm for work, initiative, teamwork skills, and a willingness to develop are valued. Experience from both fields is an advantage. Knowledge of the software used (Dynasty, Populus, and Poweresta) is also considered an asset. A valid driver’s license and own car are required. Employment terms are according to KVTES. The level salary for the position is €3,040.97/month, with a workweek of 36 hours and 15 minutes. Applicants may also propose a salary expectation.
