Job Description

We are now looking for a motivated and skilled MIG/MAG welder for our client in Karkkila for a long-term and full-time position. Our client is a Finnish machine shop established in the 1980s, offering versatile manufacturing services for the metal industry. The company's operations cover the entire production chain from quotation to manufacturing, surface treatment, and assembly. Additionally, the company provides design support services such as 3D modeling and manufacturability assessment. The business is based on efficient procurement and logistics solutions and continuous development of personnel and operations. The company has established itself as a long-term and reliable partner in Finnish industry. Your workday As a MIG/MAG welder, your tasks include various welding duties on metal structures and machine parts. The materials you will work with include black iron with thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 10mm. Your responsibilities also include interpreting technical drawings and work instructions, and operating welding robots if necessary. Your working hours are 40 hours per week, mainly on weekdays in two shifts: mornings from 6:00 to 14:00 and evenings from 14:00 to 22:00. Flexibility for three-shift work is also desired. The employment relationship is governed by the Metal Industry's collective agreement.
