HW Engineer, Maintenance - iLOQ Oy - Oulu, Finland

We are now looking for a practical, quality-minded and solution-oriented HW Engineer for a maintenance-focused role. This is an excellent opportunity for an electronics professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving existing products and ensuring that our hardware solutions remain reliable, manufacturable and cost-efficient throughout their lifecycle. The position may also be filled at senior level depending on the candidate’s background and experience. This role is located at our Head office at Oulu, Finland. In this role you will: Maintain, troubleshoot and improve existing hardware products Perform measurements, investigate technical issues and implement product changes Update components, schematics and layouts to support quality, availability, manufacturability and cost efficiency Evaluate, document, verify and release modifications according to established processes Collaborate with engineering, quality and manufacturing partners to maintain product data, support production and drive continuous improvement. Relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) Few years of experience in electronics maintenance or HW product development Hands-on experience with electronics design, schematics, layout design and design tools such as Altium Designer or similar Skills in troubleshooting, hardware measurements, technical documentation, engineering change management and product lifecycle practices Understanding manufacturability, testability, reliability, cost optimization and electronics compliance is considered a plus Good collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work with international partners Willingness to travel and motivation to work with product maintenance Good written and spoken English skills.
