Job Description
About the role In this position, you will be at the heart of international finance projects where you will learn by doing. In UPM's Finance & Control team, you wont just be learning theory—you will gain practical, real-world project experience in financial processes, systems, and transformations within a truly global environment. You will work closely with experienced project specialists who will guide and support you, while you contribute to meaningful project activities from day one. This is a brilliant opportunity to continue building your expertise in financial processes by participating in multiple project activities ranging from process documentation and systems testing to data migrations and cutover preparations. Support finance data migration activities (including data preparation, data cleansing, data mappings, validation, reconciliation, and data migration audit documentation). Implementing defined process and system changes to meet specific project needs. Assisting in testing financial systems and processes to ensure full readiness for go-live phases. Helping to document finance processes, prepare training materials, and support training delivery. Participating in go-live and post-go-live support activities for finance teams. Working and collaborating closely with experienced colleagues in an international project environment. We are looking for A recent graduate or a final-year student of University studies in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or Business Administration. Good foundational knowledge and at least 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting and reporting processes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and conceptualize complex processes and data flows. Good IT skills: proficiency in standard MS Office tools is required. Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI is considered a strong asset. Professional fluency in written and spoken English, as you will be working daily in a global project environment. Prior experience in the development of processes and systems is considered an asset.
