Job Description
Wärtsilä is seeking an On-Call Trainee to join the Project Purchasing team in Vaasa, Finland. The role involves supporting procurement activities such as order creation, follow-up, inbound transport bookings, and invoice handling. The trainee will assist in purchasing engine auxiliaries and propulsion equipment, working with stakeholders worldwide. The position is part-time, up to 25 hours per week, for 10 months, with a possibility of hybrid work. Candidates must be full-time students studying in Finland, with experience in SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of Basware considered an advantage. Fluency in English and Finnish or Swedish is required.
