We are seeking a responsible person for the café and order restaurant at the reindeer farm. As a café supervisor, your duties include customer service in English and Finnish, café work, organizing meals for visitors, presenting and selling products in the farm shop, catering and wholesale orders, managing café operations, and self-monitoring. You will also enjoy the company and care of reindeer. Your work will take place in the café, order restaurant, hut, and camp, where food is served and stories about reindeer and the farm's history are shared. Experience in similar roles and a background in reindeer herding are appreciated but not required. We provide training at the start of the season, and you will learn everything you need to know on the job. You will be part of a large team of experienced people. Ideal candidates should be diligent, proactive, responsible, precise, and language-skilled. You should be interested in developing your skills and learning new things. Strong spoken English, good interaction and problem-solving skills, and teamwork ability are essential. You should be able to handle complex service tasks, shopping, ordering, recycling, and café operations. The ability to withstand Arctic conditions and work under pressure is important. Good physical condition, authenticity, and a cheerful attitude are beneficial. Comprehensive training will be provided. Join us and experience life on the reindeer farm! Candidate requirements: Relevant education or work experience in the restaurant industry. Fluent communication in Finnish and English, and ability to work with people and animals. Valid first aid (EA1), B-class driver’s license, hygiene passport, and alcohol service license are required.
