We are seeking a nurse for a substitute position at the Malmi Psychosis Clinic in the psychosis patient care team from 17.8.2026-3.10.2027 or as agreed. The psychosis work group provides care and rehabilitation for patients who are recovering from a psychotic illness and/or need long-term monitoring of care and rehabilitation. In the psychosis work group, a nurse is appointed as the responsible worker for each patient. The nurse's task is to be responsible for the implementation of the patient's care plan and the monitoring of the treatment. An active working style is required from the nurse. We use recovery orientation as the framework for our rehabilitation. In rehabilitation, we emphasize the patient's own resources, participation, experiencing life as meaningful and maintaining hope. The patient is heard and their opinion is taken into account. We belong to the northern health and wellbeing center. Psychosis patients are care recipients who need many services, care or cooperation clients. We work closely with the patient's family and network and also do our work by moving and grounding. The position requires licensure in Finland according to the Act on Health Care Professionals 559/1994. The language skill requirement is good oral and satisfactory written skill in Finnish. Before the selection decision, the applicant must present an occupational health care assessment of their ability to perform the tasks included in the work. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis investigation according to Section 55. The position requires the successful completion of the LOP/LOVe LOP medication permit by the end of the probationary period at the latest.
