Could you be our new colleague? Kivistö Daycare is located in a quiet residential area. The daycare has four groups of children (1-5 years old) and also has a large, cozy forest yard. The recently renovated bright indoor spaces enable diverse activities, and we also utilize the large hall at nearby Maitorp Daycare for gym activities, as well as local playgrounds and forest areas. We are a professional, participatory, and dynamic work community. You will have the opportunity to participate in developing early childhood education and your own work; experimentation, participation, and teamwork are characteristic of us. In our multidisciplinary team, you will receive support from colleagues, broad-based special education teachers, development section leaders, and managers. The unit's structures support the leadership of groups and pedagogical practices. We participate in the ProVaka model, which is based on guiding behavior through positive feedback. In this model, adults serve as role models for children, and it also promotes an inclusive environment in early childhood education and supports the development of a social skills-oriented and consistent guidance culture.
