Kristiina in Seinäjoki is seeking a personal assistant for a temporary position from June 22 to July 5, 2026. After the temporary position, there is an opportunity to continue as a weekend worker. Work shifts are 5 per week, approximately 40 hours per week. There are also work opportunities on weekends. The employer is an active woman who enjoys wheelchair dancing, with practice sessions a couple of times a week and competitions a few times a year. She has difficulties with speech production, so the assistant should have good Finnish language skills to facilitate communication. Job duties include assistance with daily chores (cooking, shopping, cleaning), communication, dressing, bathing, and eating. Assistance also involves helping the employer to and from outside the home. Although the employer uses a wheelchair, lifting tasks are not part of the job. Previous experience as a personal assistant or in the care sector is advantageous but not mandatory; it would be beneficial. The employer is a member of the HETA union, and employment terms follow the HETA collective agreement, with a salary according to pay group C.
