A fixed-term position for a PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER is available at Haukipudas School for the 2026-2027 academic year. Subjects taught are English and Swedish. Haukipudas School is a comprehensive school located in Northern Oulu. The school provides basic education for grades 1-9. In addition to general education groups, the school has several small groups and one Jopo-class from Northern Oulu. Approximately 860 students attend Haukipudas School, and the staff consists of 122 members. The school's activities are based on the national curriculum, aiming to offer high-quality, safe, and student-centered education. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/1998). Original certificates of qualification must be presented during the interview if applicable. Experience with grades 1-9 is considered an advantage. Salary is determined according to the municipal collective agreement for the education sector. Before the appointment is confirmed, the selected candidate must, within 30 days of receiving the decision, present a criminal background check issued under the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002) §3.
