Data Platform Engineer, Mirka - Academic Work

About the role This role involves taking long-term ownership of Mirkas Azure Databricks platform, focusing on creating structure, setting standards, and building scalable foundations for analytics and AI. You will act as the technical counterpart to the Data & Analytics Manager, driving the platform's architecture and technical development. Work tasks - Develop and maintain Mirkas data platform focusing on structure, standardization, and scalability - Architect Databricks, including lakehouse structure and modeling standards - Define integration patterns from source systems to analytics tools - Strengthen governance, security, and access management for the platform - Enable self-service analytics through harmonized and scalable data models - Support Machine Learning and AI initiatives on Databricks We are looking for - Advanced knowledge of Azure Databricks, demonstrated by architectural development or significant platform contributions - Advanced professional experience in data platform development - Fluent English language proficiency It is meritorious if you have - Experience with streaming data, particularly in factory environments - Good knowledge of PowerBI for data visualization To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: - Detail oriented - Responsible - Self sufficent Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our clients wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
