Welder

The job is for an experienced welder to work with mostly black iron and to participate in the fabrication of large, demanding structures. The employer is a contract manufacturer producing high-quality metal components and complete solutions for industrial needs. The position is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract through Carrot, with possibility of permanent employment with the client afterwards. Work time is 40 hours per week and two-shift work is expected.

Start immediately when suitable candidate is found. Your duties include MIG/MAG and TIG welding primarily on black iron, fabrication and welding of large, demanding structures according to drawings. You will read and interpret technical drawings independently and execute work from start to finish. You are precise, meticulous, and take responsibility for your work.

You can work independently, with a partner, or as part of a supportive team. We value initiative and genuine interest in the work. Requirements: MIG/MAG and TIG proficiency, excellent reading of drawings, several years of welding experience, good motivation and ability to work independently, Finnish language skills. Salary is determined by experience and competence and ranges approximately from 15–22 EUR/hour.
