The goal is to improve service flow, reduce customer process queues, and support clients' progress into the labor market. Specialists work in a team model across different stages of the customer service pathway. The position is part of the career and employment services, particularly focusing on needs assessment, guidance to services, and skills development services. Tasks include assessing clients' situations, initiating job search, evaluating service needs, and guiding clients to appropriate services. Additionally, the role involves planning pathways for skills development, guiding towards education and labor market training solutions, and collaborating with educational institutions, employers, and other networks. The work also involves preparing and drafting labor policy solutions and handling other official matters. Success in the role requires a solution-oriented, cooperative, and customer-focused approach, as well as the ability to make independent assessments and justified decisions in official tasks. The role requires interpreting and applying legislation in practical customer work. We expect you to have a relevant higher education degree and a solution-oriented, customer-focused approach. We value the ability to independently search for and apply information practically, and readiness to operate in a changing environment. Knowledge of the labor market, education system, and employment services, as well as understanding the importance of skills development for employment, are considered advantages. Experience in guidance, customer work, and network collaboration is also beneficial. Pietarsaari is a strongly bilingual area, and proficiency in Finnish and Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. English language skills are an advantage. The use of interpretation services is part of daily customer work. We offer the opportunity to participate in building a new, labor market-oriented, and cooperation-based employment service as part of a skilled and development-oriented team. Salary (3TYP42B1) 3055.70 €/month, with possible additional allowances according to KVTES. Standard working hours are 38.35 hours/week. The position is fixed-term for 12 months.
