A helper is a person who provides everyday assistance, companionship, and/or support with household cleaning for a designated client, such as an elderly person. The helper's tasks may include supporting the client with various daily chores, such as outdoor activities, shopping trips, taking out the trash, or simply enjoying coffee and conversation. We are also looking for cleaners who can work as helpers, with tasks including professional home cleaning and window washing. Over time, helpers and clients often become friends through their work. Helpers can be anyone over 18, from students to retirees. The most important qualities are a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help. What does the helper role require? A desire to help. No special skills are needed for assisting; just a willingness to spend time with those in need and make their daily lives better and easier through your actions. The work can be tailored to your situation, and working hours are very flexible. We require experience in cleaning from cleaner-helpers. **What does a cleaner-helper do?** A cleaner-helper supports our clients with professional home cleaning while also providing everyday assistance and companionship to their designated elderly person. The work is meaningful, as helpers also get to get to know the elderly person. Helpers often become an important support pillar in the daily life of the elderly. Hemby provides high-quality cleaning supplies, from microfiber cloths to cleaning agents, for our helpers. During home visits, we utilize the client's vacuum cleaner and mop for floor cleaning. As a helper, you will receive: - A designated client whom you assist with daily chores and keep company. - Flexible working hours that fit well around studies or other part-time work. A typical schedule is 1-2 times a week for a few hours. - Competitive hourly pay: €12.79-€15.56/hour plus additional benefits according to the collective agreement and holiday pay. - Good advancement opportunities: You can progress to pro-helper or guru-helper based on experience and positive client feedback, which can lead to a salary increase.
