Sector Leader - Real Estate and Buildings

We are seeking a Sector Leader to lead and develop the Real Estate and Buildings business for WSP Finland as a member of the management team. The role focuses on growth, client relationships and overall business responsibility. The sector in Finland is led by about 130 specialists, with the support of WSP’s international network of 83,000 professionals. Our services cover the lifecycle of buildings and real estate from planning to development, maintenance and repair. This position combines local business ownership with a link to an international client network and multi-country projects. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for the business, stay close to clients, and drive growth in a way that provides the expert organization with a clear direction and prerequisites for success. You will be responsible for the sector’s growth strategy, its implementation and financial results. As a member of WSP Finland’s management team you will influence the overall company and lead the sector’s business leaders. You will lead the whole entity from the perspectives of business, customers and people, support the organisation to succeed, and build long-term customer relationships through your functional leadership and key account work. The sector rests on a strong foundation on which to build the next phase of growth, client relationships and organizational development. We expect you to have experience in leading a results-driven business in the construction and real estate sector, experience in leading and developing an expert organisation, a track record in building and delivering strategy into practical actions, strong customer understanding and willingness to engage in key account work, insights into industry development and leveraging digitalisation, and a suitable educational background in planning and consultancy. You will articulate your views to clients, stakeholders and the organisation, and with your leadership you will create a work environment with clear direction, collaboration and trust to support the success of experts.
