Welcome to our team in the Working-Age Social Work and Guidance unit! We are seeking a social worker for a permanent position starting from August 1, 2026, or by agreement. The position is located in the southwestern service area in Tornio. Main duties: - Planned adult social work with clients requiring special support and multidisciplinary networks. - Assessment of service needs, client plans, and decisions in accordance with the Social Welfare Act. - Participation in social work on-call duty during office hours. Social on-call duty is centralized in Rovaniemi, and in the southwestern area, it is handled as on-call duty outside office hours. Out-of-office social on-call duty is organized as standby, for which a separate compensation is paid. However, a new on-call unit is being established for the southwestern area to handle out-of-office on-call duty. We offer: - A task-specific salary of €4,106.33/month. Applicants meeting the qualification requirements will also receive a permanent availability supplement of €300/month. - Support from the lead social worker and weekly team meetings. - Flexibility in work, including sliding working hours and remote work, considering the nature of the work. Requirements: - Qualification to practice as a licensed social worker. If no fully qualified applicants are available, we will also consider final-year social work students eligible for internship. - Driver’s license and access to a personal car. - Independent and proactive work approach, as well as good interaction and teamwork skills.
