Inspection Engineer - Yara Suomi Oy - Remote - Global

Our Uusikaupunki plant manufactures NPK fertilizers and sulfuric acid for domestic and export markets, employing around 260 professionals. The maintenance organization ensures high operational reliability and cost-effective upkeep of production processes, working closely with production to ensure safe and uninterrupted operation of equipment and systems. The role involves planning, coordinating, and developing internal inspections, managing subcontractor inspections, maintaining electronic documentation, leading corrosion studies, supporting investment projects, coordinating crane and lifting gear inspections, and developing modern practices and tools. Requirements include a technical university degree (AMK/DI) in mechanical engineering, knowledge of pressure equipment and legislation, problem-solving skills, good communication and teamwork skills, and fluent English. Knowledge of NDT techniques and welding is a plus.
