Senior Employment Legal Counsel - EMEA - Bentley Systems - Remote - Global

We are seeking a practical, solutions-oriented Senior Employment Legal Counsel to support our growing global workforce in EMEA. As the first employment counsel located outside of the U.S., you will have the unique opportunity to make a profound impact on how we build and scale employment programs globally. Reporting to the VP, Deputy General Counsel located in the U.S., you will be the primary employment law expert for Bentley’s EMEA HR teams. You will handle the full spectrum of employment matters—from day-to-day advisory work to complex disputes, acquisitions, and restructuring—while shaping policies that reflect best-in-class practice under applicable regional laws. Responsibilities include providing legal counseling on employment matters, managing global mobility and immigration issues, advising on EU employment law and GDPR, drafting employment contracts, managing litigation, advising on restructuring, developing policies, and supporting M&A activities. Qualifications include being a qualified lawyer with Irish or equivalent EU practice, 6+ years PQE in employment law, strong EU employment law knowledge, excellent communication and collaboration skills, desirable experience in immigration law, and in-house experience in a tech company.
