Site Manager for a Data Center Project - Workpower Rakennus Oy - Helsinki, Finland

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our international client in delivering large-scale data center construction projects in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Our client is an international specialist and contractor in critical power systems, delivering complex electrical and energy solutions for data centers and other mission-critical infrastructures. The company operates across the full project lifecycle — from design to installation, testing, and commissioning. As a Site Manager, you will have overall responsibility for one or multiple construction sites, depending on project scope. You will lead the day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution throughout all project stages from pre-construction to practical completion. You will act as the primary point of contact on site, coordinating installation teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and other stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to project delivery. Key Responsibilities include overseeing daily site operations, ensuring personnel compliance with safety rules, monitoring project costs, preparing schedules, managing RAMS, participating in safety meetings, and overseeing documentation. We expect a hands-on construction professional with leadership skills, experience as a Site Manager or similar, a relevant technical degree, and understanding of project scheduling and cost control. Advantageous are experience in data center projects, inspections, testing, commissioning, and safety practices. The role requires good Finnish and English skills, valid EU work authorization, Occupational Safety Card, and Electrical Safety Card.
