Welder to Päijät-Häme - Lavonia Oy - Asikkala, Finland

We are looking for an experienced pressure vessel welder for our client for a long-term position. The work starts in early August and begins through us with a probation period, after which there is a possibility to transfer directly to the client company. Our client specializes in manufacturing high-quality pressure vessels and tank structures for industrial use. The work includes welding stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, and black steel in demanding environments where welds must pass X-ray and ultrasonic inspections. Strong previous experience in pressure vessel welding and valid welding certificates are required. Job duties include welding of pressure vessels and tanks, MIG/MAG and TIG welding, TIG root passes and MIG/MAG filling and finishing welds, welding stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, and black steel, and maintaining high-quality welding and inspection standards. We expect previous experience in pressure vessel welding, valid welding certifications, strong MIG/MAG and TIG welding skills, ability to produce welds that pass X-ray and ultrasonic testing, Finnish or English language skills, and an independent and precise working attitude.
