We are seeking a Project Coordinator for the Supportive OuLukio project, funded by the Finnish National Agency for Education, to work from July 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. In Oulu, there are nine city-maintained day schools and an evening adult school. Among the high schools, there are three specialized schools: Madetojan Music High School, which specializes in music education; Kastelli High School, which has a sports high school line; and Oulu Lyseo, which offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall management, progress, and achievement of the project goals. The role requires strong pedagogical and learning support expertise. The work emphasizes pedagogical solutions for learning support and special education, as well as strengthening related practices and organizational culture. Responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring the project, developing methods and models for learning support and special education, supporting co-teaching, and planning and implementing training sessions and joint events. The role involves close collaboration with the teaching staff and special educators at Oulu high schools and participation in national networks. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for documenting and reporting to the funder. Qualifications include a suitable higher education degree. Expertise in learning support and special education is an advantage. Experience in high schools or secondary education, development projects, good communication skills, and the ability to lead and implement initiatives are valued. The position is subject to a trial period. Partial remote work is possible on agreed days. Applications are primarily submitted via the electronic application form.
