We are looking for a skilled butcher in Helsinki for a fixed-term employment from October 2026 to March 2027. In this role, you will work with beef, lamb, and kid carcasses - handling, cutting, and preparing them for further processing. The work is independent and requires strong professional skills. WORK TASKS - Receive and process whole beef, lamb, and kid carcasses - Cut and portion carcasses according to specified instructions and standards - Ensure product quality during cutting - Keep your workstation clean and follow food safety regulations - Collaborate closely with the production team REQUIREMENTS - At least two years of practical experience in meat cutting - Diligence, accuracy, and responsibility in food work - Fluent Finnish or English language skills PREFERENCES - Experience with multiple animal species (beef, lamb, kid) - Previous experience in an industrial cutting environment - Knowledge of food industry hygiene practices WE OFFER - Employment according to the Retail Sector Collective Agreement - Salary based on your experience - aligned with the collective agreement - Regular day shifts: Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 13:30, total 37.5 hours per week - Part-time options available if needed - Opportunity for extension after March - Convenient location: Tukkutori, Kalasatama, Helsinki Please submit your application with CV through Barona Careers.
