Care Assistant for Temporary Work, Attendo Oma Kotka - Attendo Oy - Kotka, Finland

Hello you, care assistant! We are looking for two care assistants for temporary work in Kymenlaakso (Kotka) at Attendo Oma. The work area includes four homes for the elderly, two homes for people with disabilities, and one Attendo home for mental health rehabilitation. When working in these homes, you will get to know and become part of different work communities. Attendo Oma is our internal substitute pool where you can work in all the homes in the work area. You do not need previous experience with all resident groups but must be ready to work in all Attendo homes in the area. Training will be provided for each home. As an Attendo Oma worker, you can choose how many shifts you work and where. You will have access to a mobile app to pick suitable shifts, allowing you to work alongside other jobs or parental leave. The work may lead to longer-term or permanent positions. Flexibility in taking shifts is desired. Available shifts include mornings, evenings, nights on weekdays and weekends. Requirements include a social and health care qualification (care assistant), vaccination protection for the entire employment period, a criminal record extract for work with minors, elderly, and disabled, medication licenses and special sections Ger 1+2 and Kipu 1 (Psych 1 is an advantage) or readiness to complete within 3 months of starting work, hygiene passport, fluent Finnish, and a social and health care card. The employment terms follow the private social services collective agreement. A zero-hour contract allows working 0-115 hours over three weeks according to your schedule. The salary is 2689.47-2886.04 €/month (16.49-17.70 €/h), including task-specific supplements. The start date is flexible. The application deadline is June 14, 2026.
