Position for Practical Nurse in Lohja Respiratory Paralysis Team - ONNI - Lohja, Finland

At Onni, you can focus on what matters most: one person. (The position is also suitable for final-year nursing students!) We are looking for a practical nurse or a final-year nursing student for our Lohja respiratory paralysis team to work meaningfully and genuinely with clients in their homes. In this role, you will not go door-to-door but will work alongside a nurse and team supervisor to ensure high-quality care and a safe daily life for a respiratory paralysis patient. Home is a person's most cherished place. Your task is to enable our client to live their own life at their own pace in their home, with patience and compassion. What does your work and our offer include? - Respiratory paralysis patient care: You will be an integral part of the client’s daily life and responsible for their overall well-being at home. - Genuine time for the client: In the respiratory paralysis team, you will care for only one client during your shift. - Safe start: No prior experience with ventilators is needed. We will provide comprehensive training on the equipment and work to ensure you feel confident and secure. - Support network: You will not be alone. Besides the client, your support team includes a nurse, a team supervisor, and a close-knit, professional work community. - Valuable experience alongside studies: As a student, you will learn demanding clinical skills and long-term client relationship management in a way that you cannot find elsewhere. Do you recognize yourself in these? - Language skills: Proficiency in spoken and written Finnish is required to ensure safe care and smooth documentation. - Qualifications: You have graduated as a practical nurse OR are a final-year nursing student with at least 140 ECTS credits. - Personal qualities: Reliability, friendliness, and flexibility are important to you. - Attitude: You are positive and eager to develop our operations together with the team. - Other formalities: You have vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act §48 and current medication administration studies (licenses can be completed with us).
