Registered Nurse, Kiilarinne, Merikarvia - Satakunnan hyvinvointialue - Pori, Finland

We are seeking a registered nurse for the elderly care unit at Merikarvia, part of the Satakunta wellbeing services area. Kiilarinne offers homely accommodation in a safe environment until the end of life. The purpose of care and nursing is for residents to experience their lives as safe, meaningful, and dignified, and to maintain social interaction and participate in activities that promote well-being and functional capacity. Kiilarinne has a total of 56 resident places. The qualification requirement for the position is a nursing degree and a license issued in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals. Professional competence must be verifiable (Valvira). Previous experience in elderly care is an advantage. We also value good teamwork skills, an independent work approach, decision-making ability, and flexibility. The work is on a two-shift basis. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check in accordance with the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with the Elderly (741/2023 28§). The position is filled for an indefinite period. We observe a probationary period of six (6) months. Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement.
