Summer 2026: Practical Nurse, Home Care, Keuruu, Fixed-term - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Keuruu, Finland

We are looking for two practical nurses for summer substitute work in Keuruu home care from June 1 to August 30, 2026. Summer work in Keuruu home care offers diverse and mobile tasks, with each day being different. The work is carried out in clients' homes, supported by remote care options when necessary. Tasks may include basic care, medical procedures, medication management, health monitoring, and client service needs assessment. The work is performed as part of a multidisciplinary team that supports clients' resources and functional capacity. The goal is to enable quality, safe, and meaningful living at home. In Keuruu home care, you will be part of a flexible work community and have the opportunity to develop your skills alongside experienced colleagues. Orientation is planned individually based on your needs, considering your previous skills and work history. The work involves 2-shift rotation. Please note that a driving license and access to a car are required for this position. In Central Finland welfare area, most units utilize autonomous shift planning, which considers employees' different life situations. As a graduate practical nurse, you must be registered as a professional with the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health. We require suitability under Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (e.g., for measles and rubella). The employer will determine the need for influenza and whooping cough vaccinations. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract according to Section 6 of the Criminal Records Act (for work with the elderly). Current medication management skills according to a medication plan or completion of such training at the start of employment are required. Employment terms are governed by the social and health care collective agreement (SOTE agreement). A trial period applies. In the selection of summer employees, consideration is also given to personnel already working in the welfare area whose current tasks may be ending.
