Are you practical-minded, skilled in design and prototyping? We are looking for a capable and problem-solving mechanical designer for our office located in Vantaa. We are a relaxed small company with 6 employees, a design office focused on mechanical design and manufacturing, Bestdan Oy. We implement a variety of projects for our clients, from concept development to finished and assembled turnkey deliveries. We seek an experienced designer capable of working independently, who can also handle tools when needed. We require problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a client’s design project from start to finish, working well in collaboration with clients. As a mechanical designer, your work will be diverse and mainly remote, with occasional visits to client sites. We cannot list all tasks, as we do not yet know what our clients will need next week, which adds interest to the work. Skills and experience: - At least one year of experience in mechanical design or similar work in the engineering field. - Previous experience in design work, engineering, and various manufacturing methods. - SolidWorks skills - Fluent Finnish and sufficient English language skills We offer a pleasant and relaxed working environment, good healthcare, responsible and diverse tasks, and flexibility.
