We are looking for an HVAC professional to join the building technology teaching team for a fixed-term employment from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The vocational instructor in the HVAC field is responsible for practical training of students in building technology alongside teachers. Responsibilities include guiding students in the school's workshop, other learning environments, or on construction sites, as well as performing building technology repairs on the school's property. Depending on the candidate's skills, the role may also include other tasks and participation in developing building technology education. Applicants must have a basic qualification in HVAC or extensive work experience in the field, including maintenance and installation of heating, water, sewer, and ventilation systems, as well as proficiency in Finnish. Welding skills and a C-class driving license are considered an advantage. We also value responsible work attitude, teamwork skills, and readiness to work with young people. The employment begins with a three-month probation period. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check in accordance with the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002). Original certificates of qualifications and competence must be presented during the interview if applicable.
