We are seeking a mechanical fitter for a reputable client in Ylöjärvi. The role mainly involves mechanical assembly of new machines, so the candidate should have strong hand skills and keep tools in hand. Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge is definitely an asset. The job is performed in a team and a thorough onboarding is provided. In addition to suitable education or experience, hobbies involving cars or other technical areas are deemed to provide a good foundation for the role. Work is done in our client’s clean and functional premises, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Initially you will work day shifts; in the future, readiness for two shifts is expected. The work starts as soon as a suitable person is found. A permanent contract is possible for a good performer. Salary is determined by experience and skill, typically starting in the range of €14.50–€16.00 per hour. Requirements include suitable education (e.g. machine assembler) and some prior experience in similar tasks, good teamworking skills, proficiency with hand tools and the ability to read drawings, and most importantly a proactive attitude and a can-do spirit.
