Job Description
You will work as part of the expert team at Oulu University's 6G Test Center, participating in NATO DIANA innovation testing, research, and development projects. Your tasks include designing, deploying, and maintaining communication and network systems, testing and validating performance, integrating new technologies, and collaborating with companies, authorities, and research organizations. The role requires a relevant higher education degree in telecommunications, experience with communication systems, understanding of IP networks, and good English skills. Knowledge of 4G/5G/6G networks, virtualization, security, and defense environments is a plus. The position is fixed-term from October 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, with a salary of 3500-4200 EUR/month plus performance-based bonus. The role may require security clearance and Finnish citizenship. Application deadline is August 16, 2026.
