Job Description
GitLab is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a small, high-autonomy team focused on improving non-linear productivity within the SDLC. The role involves recruiting four exceptional engineers, defining operational models, diagnosing system-level metrics, and implementing root-cause fixes. The manager will act as a bridge between the pilot squad, affected teams, and leadership, ensuring measurable value delivery. Responsibilities include setting strategy, team building, technical investigation, and operational risk management. Candidates should have experience leading small, autonomous teams, deep understanding of CI/CD systems, and strong communication skills.
