Producer, Theatre Arts Degree Program, Näty (part-time temporary) - Tampereen yliopisto - Remote - Global

The Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences form Finland's second largest multidisciplinary, inspiring, and impactful research and learning community. Our higher education community's core areas are technology, health, and society. We are seeking a producer for a fixed-term, part-time position (1.9.2026–30.4.2027; 50% work) to support the actor training, artistic research, and related artistic activities in the Theatre Arts Degree Program (Näty). The program is part of the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences and offers multidisciplinary training in acting at bachelor and master levels, as well as postgraduate training and research in performing arts. The producer's tasks include planning, budgeting, marketing, and communication for productions and events, organizing practical arrangements for MA entrance exams, liaising with partners and stakeholders, co-producing projects, and enhancing visibility of the program's artistic and pedagogical activities. Requirements include a relevant lower university degree, experience in production tasks, knowledge of performing arts, understanding of university education, excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, and flexibility. Preferred qualifications include a higher university degree, experience in theatre or university arts education, and international collaboration experience.
