In your work at the checkout, you are often the last person the customer meets. Your duties include noticing and greeting customers, as well as handling purchases and payment transactions smoothly and carefully at the line or self-service checkout. You ensure that the customer receives all benefits, products are neatly displayed and the store is pleasant. It is important to us that we work closely together in the store across department boundaries. In practice, this means that help is rushed from department work to the checkout during peak times and from the checkout, those doing department work are helped, so that we can quickly get great new products out of the load to delight our customers.
