The City of Kaskinen Education Committee announces an opening for the position of Daycare Director at Päiväkoti Ankkuri! Our daycare is located in a building completed in 2020, in a maritime environment with forest and historic archipelago scenery nearby. Our bilingual daycare has three units and two pre-school groups. Kaskinen aims to invest in staff well-being, offering benefits such as e-pass and gym membership. The qualification requirement for the Daycare Director position is in accordance with section 31 of the Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018: either a qualified early childhood education teacher (section 26) or a qualified social pedagogue in early childhood education (section 27). Applicants meeting the transitional provisions of the same act regarding personnel are also eligible. Salary is determined according to OVTES (45000020). Since the position is at the bilingual Päiväkoti Ankkuri, applicants must have the following language skills: one native language (Finnish, Swedish) or equivalent, and good oral and written skills in the second official language.
