Electrician for Heavy Equipment Repair Shop - Pentti Hämeenaho Oy - Raahe, Finland

We operate at SSAB Europe Oy's Raahe steelworks site and at various construction sites across Finland. We are pleased to have established ourselves as a reliable operator and currently offer employment to approximately 200 employees and several subcontractors. Our extensive equipment fleet includes 120 units, such as trucks, excavators, dump trucks, earthmoving machines, forklifts, container handlers, wheel loaders, crushers, screening equipment, and other specialized machinery. We are seeking an electrician for a permanent position at a heavy equipment repair shop. The work is primarily day shifts. The job mainly involves workshop repairs but may also include field repairs. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of earthmoving and industrial equipment in a workshop environment. The equipment to be repaired includes: - Excavators - Wheel loaders - Forklifts - Trucks - Crushers and crushing equipment - Other work machines and heavy vehicles. Your tasks will include: - Troubleshooting - Maintenance and repair of electrical systems - Mechanical repairs - Hydraulic work - Preventive maintenance. We expect you to have: - Basic qualification in electrical engineering or other electrical certification (mandatory) - Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems - Ability to work independently. Additionally, we value: - Hydraulic expertise - Mechanical maintenance and repair experience - Experience with heavy equipment.
