Job Description

We are now looking for a shearer for our client Stera Technologies in Paimio for a long-term, full-time position. Stera Technologies Oy is an internationally operating contract manufacturer employing over 900 people in Finland and Estonia. The company offers diverse manufacturing services, including mechanical and electronic production, as well as its own products for industrial needs. The company's turnover was €97.2 million in 2024. Your workday Your work will mainly involve shearing thin sheet metal products in the company's own facilities. The work is fairly independent, but you will be supported by a team of experienced shearers. Previous experience with Amada shearing machines and programming is essential for success in the role. Additionally, you may be assigned other auxiliary tasks in the metal industry as needed. The working hours are 40 hours per week, with shifts from Monday to Friday: day shift from 6:00 to 14:30 and evening shift from 14:30 to 23:00. The employment relationship follows the Metal Industry's collective agreement.
