The HUS Psychiatry Social Work Expert Unit, in the line of Psychosis Disorders and Forensic Psychiatry, is seeking a fixed-term social worker substitute from September 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027. The role emphasizes social work and psychiatric expertise, as well as assessment and collaboration with a broad network. The primary placement for this position is at the Matinkylä Psychosis Outpatient Clinic. The social worker works within a multidisciplinary team and participates in evaluating the patient's situation, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation with social work expertise. The work includes guiding services and benefits, and collaborating with the network, relatives, and family. Applicants are expected to have an enthusiastic, development-oriented, and flexible approach to work in a multidisciplinary team. Experience in health and social services and psychiatry is considered an advantage. In the HUS Psychiatry Social Work Expert Unit, no official decisions are made. Qualifications for the position: Licensed social worker.
