Track Machine Operator, Central Finland - WorkPower Rakennus Polaris Oy

We are looking for a track machine operator for our client in Central Finland. We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious professional to work on railway network construction and maintenance in the Central Finland area. The position is permanent, and the employee will be directly employed by the client. Your tasks may include operating work machines on the track, maintenance work, and maintaining track structures and ballast. Ensuring work safety and collaborating with other personnel are also important aspects of the role. Requirements for the position: We expect you to have experience in railway work tasks and the ability to work on the track area in compliance with safety regulations. Experience as a railway work supervisor is considered an advantage. We also value a willingness to develop your professional skills in railway work. Success in this role requires knowledge of key industry practices and concepts, as well as an initiative-taking and responsible work attitude. Additionally, we require the following from applicants: * Valid occupational safety card * Railway safety certificates 1, 2, and 3 * Tieturva 1 * First aid training * Understanding of work safety on railway sites (risk identification and electrical track safety distances) * Good physical condition for longer workdays (10 hours) * Proficiency in Finnish A railway work permit is considered an advantage.
