We are looking for two (2) youth instructors who want to be involved in guiding and supporting young people's growth into their own selves and as part of communities. In this role, you will enable young people to engage in activities that reflect their own interests, create spaces for encounters, and promote their well-being. The main tasks include youth center work and school youth work. Additionally, the job involves marketing youth services and organizing events. One position is based at the Kälviä Youth Center, and the other at Youth Center Vinge. The work is primarily face-to-face, requiring broad and multidisciplinary skills as well as knowledge of the service network. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and developing activities together with young people and other youth service guides, as well as collaborating with other actors. The work also involves organizing trips, camp activities, and outreach youth work. We offer a versatile position at the heart of youth work. You will serve as a safe and listening adult for young people and enable meaningful activities for them. The job includes regular evening and weekend work. A personal vehicle is required. The qualification requirement is a suitable youth work degree and experience in youth work. Good oral and written skills in one of the national languages are required, with at least satisfactory skills in the other. Successful performance of the job also requires good interaction and collaboration skills, the ability to work independently, and experience in multidisciplinary team and network work. Skills in various methods and a developmental approach are considered an advantage. The terms of employment are governed by the KVTES collective agreement. The level salary for the position is €2517.79 (02VAP60A1). The position follows a standard working time (38.25 hours/week).
