Personal assistant (sign language)

Mehiläinen is like a hive with almost 50,000 bees, united by one purpose: to help people live better. We are seeking sign language proficient assistants for Hyvinkää for on-call/part-time work. As a personal assistant, your tasks include helping clients with everyday activities such as housekeeping, shopping, and activities outside the home. The work is not hectic and you can concretely improve the client’s daily life. We do not require previous experience; attitude matters more. The supervisor is the client or a person authorized by them, and Mehiläinen is the employer. For on-call positions, shifts are mainly on weekdays and depend on the client’s needs. We consider your preferences and strive to arrange auxiliary assignments at convenient locations for you. We also aim to establish longer-term, familiar client relationships. We expect reliability and the ability to commit long-term. As a national employer we can accommodate changing life situations. Applicants must be of legal age, have Finnish language skills at least B1, be reliable, proactive, and customer-oriented. Sign language proficiency is also required. During recruitment, applicants must provide a criminal background check for work with the elderly and disabled. Tuberculosis screening is required for those meeting THL risk criteria. Salary: under the private social services sector collective agreement (G16A) hourly wage depending on experience: 13.20–14.51 €/h. Hourly rates by years of experience: 0 v 13.20 €, 5 v 13.64 €, 8 v 14.07 €, 11 v 14.31 €. In addition, evening (+15%), night (+40%), Saturday (+25%), Sunday (+100%) bonuses may apply.
