We are now seeking a childcare worker for a daycare where movement and nature are strongly present in daily activities. Our daycare is located near Kauppi’s natural surroundings, and we actively utilize nearby excursion opportunities in the Tammela area, exploring the city and its environment by tram and other means. You will become part of an engaging and community-oriented work community that supports you in your work and brings joy to each day. Your tasks as an early childhood educator: As a childcare worker, you are an important part of a team that creates a safe, inspiring, and learning-supportive environment for children. You participate in supporting children’s growth, development, and learning together with the team, families, and the entire work community. Your core responsibilities include: - Implementing pedagogy: Participating in the planning and evaluation of quality early childhood education as part of the team, utilizing your strengths. You will implement small group and full-day pedagogy according to Touhula Rhythm. - Responsibility for your own small group: You are responsible for the activities of your own small group and participate in pedagogical documentation and the preparation of children’s early childhood education plans together with the team. - Caring for the learning environment: Ensuring that the children’s learning environment is diverse, safe, and tidy. - Positive customer experience: Building trust and open interaction with families. The final salary depends on years of experience and any task-specific or personal salary supplements. What we expect from you: - Qualification as an early childhood educator according to the Early Childhood Education Act - Ability to build open and professional interaction with all stakeholders - Responsible work attitude and willingness to try new methods, actively developing your professional skills - Criminal record certificate as required by law and a health statement according to infectious disease law.
