Early Childhood Educator, Kellarpello Daycare - Savonlinnan kaupunki - Savonlinna, Finland

Kellarpello Daycare is located on the same premises as Kellarpello School at Kellartie 63B 57710 Savonlinna. Our activities support children's happiness, safety, and joyful learning experiences according to their development; through new knowledge and skills. Play is at the core of our activities; play, physical activity, and music, as well as collaborative activities, bring joy to children's daily lives. Childhood is unique. We are seeking a temporary early childhood educator for a fixed-term position from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The position is in a group of 1-3-year-olds. As an early childhood educator, we expect you to have good and versatile cooperation, interaction, and teamwork skills. You will participate in and promote the comprehensive planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of the children's group activities with your professional expertise. You will collaborate with guardians, staff from other daycare groups, and other partners. Qualifications: Qualification according to the Finnish Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018) section 28. Consideration may also be given to other suitable candidates. Local salary level: €2531.90/month Working hours: 38.25 hours/week Collective agreement: KVTES A four-month probationary period applies to the position. The selected candidate must provide a tuberculosis screening report in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act (55§) and present a criminal record extract related to working with children, as required by the Criminal Records Act (504/2002).
