Land Survey Engineer - Kuhmon kaupunki - Kuhmo, Finland

We are seeking a land survey engineer for our work community, responsible for managing the city's land assets, land use planning, and city geospatial data guidance and maintenance. Key responsibilities include process control of general and detailed city planning, decision-making on deviations, land acquisitions, land transfers, and land use agreements. You will maintain the base maps for city plans, participate in process development related to municipal registers and geospatial systems, and serve as a presenter and preparer in city trust bodies. Additionally, your tasks include customer service and stakeholder cooperation. We require you to have a degree as an engineer in surveying (AMK) or an equivalent previous qualification as a land survey technician or engineer. The role requires good IT skills, customer service and interaction skills, and proficiency in spoken and written Finnish. Previous experience is an advantage but not mandatory. The position will be filled starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement, with a six-month probation period. The selected candidate must submit an acceptable medical certificate of health. Salary and employment terms are based on the municipal technical personnel collective agreement. We also pay a recruitment bonus.
