Join Avustajasi Validia Oy and help write the story of our clients' lives as a personal assistant in the Rantasalmi area. We’re seeking personable caregivers to support individuals in the private social services sector who need assistance at home or outside home for activities such as hobbies, study support, household tasks, or enabling leisure events. The role can involve being a conversation partner and companion, with the aim of enabling home living as long as possible and supporting active, meaningful days in line with the client’s autonomy. The job offers variability and flexibility: shifts arranged with the client; independent work; a warm, supportive team; and the possibility to learn more and pursue further studies in social and health care. We do not require formal training or work experience, but those are a plus. We expect genuine interest in assisting work, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop. Proficiency in Finnish is essential; other languages are a plus. We require vaccination under the Infectious Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening under §55, and we will check criminal records as required by health and social care supervision law.
