Job Description
Sibanye-Stillwater's Keliber lithium project is expected to be the first in Europe to produce battery-grade lithium hydroxide from its own ore reserves. The ore will be processed into concentrate, which will then be refined into lithium hydroxide. The concentrator is located in Kaustinen, and the lithium refinery in Kokkola Industrial Park. Lithium hydroxide is used in lithium-ion batteries, which are essential for the green transition and digitalization. Keliber is a subsidiary of Sibanye-Stillwater, a multinational mining and metals processing company, with Finnish Minerals Group, a state-owned enterprise developing the lithium-ion battery value chain in Finland, as its second-largest shareholder. We are seeking a WAREHOUSE WORKER for warehouse and logistics tasks primarily at the Keliber concentrator in Kaustinen, with occasional work at the Keliber lithium refinery in Kokkola. Warehouse work is a vital part of our production chain, where safe, precise, and proactive material management ensures smooth operation of the production facilities. Your responsibilities include: Warehouse and logistics tasks: receiving, storing, collecting, shipping, and transporting spare parts, production supplies, and commodities. Warehouse inventory tasks. Maintaining order, usability, and cleanliness of warehouses in cooperation with the team and various stakeholders. We expect you to have: Vocational qualification, e.g., in logistics, automotive, mechanical, or production technology, or other relevant education. Previous experience in warehouse operations within an industrial or process environment. Basic IT skills; knowledge of warehouse management and enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage. Systematic and careful work approach and the ability to work independently. Enthusiasm to participate in developing warehouse and logistics operations. Good cooperation skills with production, maintenance, logistics, and other stakeholders. Experience and skills in operating machinery, e.g., counterbalance forklift, reach truck, wheeled vehicle. Be fluent in Finnish; knowledge of English is considered an advantage.
