Job Description
We are seeking a project manager for the implementation project of a new financial system in basic financial services. Basic financial services are part of the financial services responsibility area, within the administration and financial services sector, on the support services line. The responsible unit handles external accounting processes, governance, supervision, and development at the regional level. Financial services are also responsible for coordinating the financial statement process. Additionally, basic financial services work closely with the external service center and are responsible for developing cooperation with the service center, ensuring that processes comply with regional guidelines, requirements, and objectives. As a project manager, you will plan and lead the implementation of the financial system for the regional entity. The system renewal significantly impacts financial management processes, operational models, integrations, and daily financial activities. Your role includes coordinating the project in collaboration with our external service center. You will also support other system development tasks related to the area’s financial systems and processes using your expertise, and participate in financial services development tasks as needed. We require a relevant university degree and previous experience in similar roles. The position requires knowledge of financial systems and understanding of financial management processes. To succeed, you should have good time management, risk management skills, and strong interaction and collaboration skills with various stakeholders. Experience and skills in project management and as a project manager are considered an advantage. Additional assets include expertise in financial management (key processes such as accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payment transactions, financial statement process, and financial reporting), as well as experience in public sector financial management, ERP implementations, system integrations, process development, and change management. The employment is fixed-term from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2028, tied to the financial system implementation schedule. The working hours are office hours, 36.25 hours/week. The position includes a six-month probation period.
