Personal Assistant - Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Jyväskylä, Finland

We are seeking a personal assistant through the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County for a fixed-term employment until December 31, 2026, for an adult woman in Jyväskylä Aittorinne. The employer primarily uses an electric wheelchair and occasionally a manual wheelchair indoors. Transfers are performed with a turner and sometimes with a slide board. The work offers 0–30 hours per week for daily activities and 0–30 hours per month for tasks outside the home. Daily assistance shifts are two hours long, either during the day or in the evening. Shifts are available on all days of the week. Shifts outside the home are planned together. Working hours are shared among several assistants. Tasks include assisting with all daily activities and medication management. Assistance also includes errands and leisure activities (e.g., pool therapy visits). Due to the nature of the work, a female assistant is primarily sought. The workplace is smoke-free! Salary: Heta Collective Agreement A 13.23 €/h + possible experience bonuses. Employment relationships are always private. The person selected for the employment will be employed by the person being assisted. Notification of interview/employment decision will be given personally. Work begins as soon as a suitable assistant is found. The employer has the right to request a criminal record extract from the employee working with elderly and disabled persons once the employment begins (Act on Social and Health Care Supervision 741/2023, Section 28).
